We are looking to employ a Maintenance Supervisor with an outstanding knowledge of building trades, cleaning procedures and maintenance. A Maintenance Supervisor is expected to have fantastic organizational and time management skills and the ability to prioritize activities based on the situation. You will display natural leadership and possess fantastic communication skills with a great eye for detail.

To ensure success, the Maintenance Supervisors should possess strong problem solving and decision-making skills with a solid understanding of building maintenance, repairs, refurbishments, cleaning and managing staff. This is a hands-on position as well as one where tasks will be delegated to other individuals and the completion of those tasks will be inspected by and followed up on by the Maintenance Supervisor. Top candidates will be fantastic at building and equipment maintenance procedures and have extensive knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices, OSHA, MSDS, as well as cost-efficiency principles and management of staff and vendors. Supervise a staff of 4 individuals plus part-time contract workers PRN.
3+ years of supervisory maintenance and similar experience required. This is a hands-on working supervisor position
CCS is a 501(c)3 non-profit Community Mental Health Center with offices and programs in 7 counties across NE Mississippi. We have a fleet of over 100 vehicles, over 80 buildings, each with unique uses and programmatic needs. Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to,
Inspect sites regularly to identify problems and necessary maintenance.
Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work as per workloads.
Employ, supervise and train workers.
Coordinate daily cleaning and maintenance activities.
Oversee all repairs and ensure that work is completed on time.
Maintain all inventory and equipment, and ensure proper storage.
Comply with all health and safety regulations and practices on site.
Conduct preventative maintenance work.
Conduct follow-ups on all maintenance and repair work.
Conduct safety inspections as scheduled.
Establish strategies to meet workload demands on time.
